CROCHET WORKSHOP: Mini Crocheted Witches Hat

One 2.5 Hour Class

It’s almost Autumn! Spooky season is here. Join us making a mini witches hat as a festive
touch to your wardrobe or holiday decor. This little hat is super versatile.

This class will teach you about crocheting in the round beginning with a magic circle technique.
You will encounter: increasing, working in front loop or back loop only, finishing with one of my
favorite types of edging, the crab stitch.

Most students will be able to leave class with a finished Mini Hat


Crochet level: Adventurous Beginner
Should know the basics of single crochet and identifying beginning stitches

Materials:
Yarn: 60 yards of worsted weight yarn; optional 20-30 yards of contrasting color.
Suggested yarn is Cascade 220 Wave

Hook: E or F (the hats come out best if you go down 1-2 sizes compared to what you would
normally use for worsted weight yarn)
Tapestry needle
