Orders, Shipping and Returns

Yarn Orders
Orders are fulfilled from in stock merchandise.  When multiple balls/skeins of the same yarn & color are ordered, then we will attempt to fulfill the order with all quantities from the same dye lot.  However, if stock is not available in sufficient quantity, then multiple dye lots of the same colorway may be combined to fulfill the order quantity requested.  If it is necessary to have all the same dye lot of a particular yarn, then please specify in the notes of your order.  If there is a shortage or an ordered item is out-of-stock, then the customer will be contacted and given options for fulfilling the desired order.  If you would like us to wind your yarn before shipping or have another request, just add your comment as a Note during check out.  

Shipping Methods

Our usual shipping time is within one to two business days.  Unless you specify another method, then we will use the most economically-friendly and timely shipping method available, usually USPS First-Class or Priority Mail Package for light items and UPS ground for heavier orders.  Express and premium shipping methods are available.

Tracking Shipments
When your package is shipped, you’ll receive a message with a link that will allow you to track your package in transit.  If you have any concerns or there is a problem with your order, please send an email or give us a call and we will do what we can to make it right.


Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

Change of Heart: If you change your mind or realize you ordered the wrong item, please contact us within 30 days of purchase.  Items in new and unused condition in Original packaging may be returned for a refund or exchange. Refunds within 30 days of the date of purchase will be credited to the original payment method. Refunds within 90 days will be given as in-store credit. Refunds will not be given more than 90 days after the date of purchase. The following are NOT returnable: wound yarn, needles, notions, books, magazines, patterns, clearance, closeouts, discontinued products, or if otherwise indicated.  Yarn that has been wound, unwound, or unraveled is NOT returnable.  All sales of Needles and Notions are final and are NOT returnable. Return shipping charges and cost is the Customer's responsibility.

Order Error: We do our best to avoid errors in fulfilling orders, but we are human too. If you receive an order with a discrepancy or error, please contact us as soon as you notice it and we will do our best to fix it.  Please contact us about errors no later than two weeks after receiving the shipment.

Defective Product: Our apologies in advance if you should receive a defective product! Please contact us immediately upon noticing any defect. We will attempt to handle the situation to your satisfaction. Some products provide lifetime guarantees and we will work with you for product replacement or repair when possible.

There are a few items that are NOT returnable: wound yarn, needles, notions, books, magazines, patterns, clearance, closeouts, discontinued products, or if otherwise indicated.  Yarn that has been wound, unwound, or unraveled is NOT returnable.  All sales of Needles and Notions are final and are NOT returnable.
