Discovery of Stitches is an instructional knitting group for beginners looking to expand their skills. Meets every Saturday from 10am to Noon.

Each session will start with a planned lesson to introduce a new technique or skill, followed by project help and social knitting time.

Planned lessons will include fixing common mistakes, reading your knitting, improving your cast-on, knitting in-the-round vs knitting flat, checking gauge, picking up stitches, understanding advanced stitches, reading a chart, and more.

Project help will be available for whatever you might be working on and does not have to be related to the lesson.  Drop a stitch?  Something looks off?  Not sure what happened?  We'll get your going again.

Enjoy knitting with fellow-beginners.  This group is limited to beginners and learning knitters only, so don't worry about being intimidated by experts.

Please Note:  Space for each session is limited and reservations are recommended.  Drop-ins are welcome, but are subject to space availability.

The Three Month Pass is good for all the sessions held within a 3-month period, starting on the Saturday of activation and expiring 3 months thereafter, from calendar date to calendar date.  There is no need to make reservations or book your spot, your spot is guaranteed during the active pass period.

The Ten Session Punch Card may be used to attend any 10 sessions and does not expire until used up.  However, space is limited for each session and available on a first-come first-served basis.  Advanced reservations are recommended to secure your spot.
