This knitted animal is inspired by Jimothy, the wild short-spined raccoon from Ballard.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to the PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Washington State that specializes in rehabilitating sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, restoring them to full health, and returning them as functioning members of their wild population. This Jimothy the Wild Raccoon pattern is knit seamlessly starting with the body and picking up stitches for the ears, legs, and tail. Add optional wire armatures for posing on adventures.

Use any weight yarn you like, just adjust needles for a tight gauge.

Skill Level: Adventurous
If you’ve knit socks, he should be manageable.
