Introduction to Stranded Colorwork

Dates:
Session 1: Thursdays, May 23rd & 30th at 3-5pm
or
Session 2: Saturdays, July 13th & 20th at 2-4pm
Learn to knit two-color stranded colorwork.
Skills will including reading charts, choosing colors, how to handle two-strands at once, adjusting tension, catching floats, changing colors, fixing mistakes, creating your own designs, and tips for creating a successful project. Knit a Hat.
Experience Level Required: Some knitting and purling preferred
HOMEWORK / MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:
100 yards for your Main/Background color
100 yards in one or more highly contrasting yarn
US 5 (3.75mm) and/or US 6 (4 mm) Circular 16” or 24” or DPNs (depending on project / gauge)
Tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers
