We have partnered with SweetGeorgia Yarns for a Mystery Shawl Knit Along.
Starting September 1st
ABOUT THE MYSTERY KNIT-ALONG
Over in the great Smoky Mountains, where the mist stretches from sky to tree, it is easy to lose oneself in the wonder of laurel bushes, mountain tops, and cool, wild woods. It is like stepping into a different world. Guided by the ancient wisdom that seems to exude from the ground, we have nothing to do but discover … new directions, new scents, a new sense of self. The excitement of discovering what lays behind the misty, laurel-coated hills is the inspiration for the next SweetGeorgia Mystery Knit-Along (MKAL)!
Laurel Mists is worked with three colors: two skeins of solid colors that softly contrast each and one SweetGeorgia multicolored Sock Blank. The total yardage used is 1264 yds of fingering-weight yarn.
It makes it look like you’ve used a lot of colors without actually using a lot of colors! So, aim for fun contrast in your yarn selections, with one being a multi-color yarn, so that the individual stitch patterns are highlighted to their full potential.
We’ve put the following ideas together to help take out some of the guesswork for you.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE MKAL?
Simply purchasing the Laurel Mists MKAL Kit. The pattern is included.
You will receive a pattern "clue" update every week, as well as the full pattern once it is launched.

The final, full pattern will launch on October 13.
Stranded by the Sea will host Mystery Knit Along Video Help Sessions on Tuesdays from 6-7pm.
