Tablet / Card Weaving Part 2 - Diagonal Designs Weaving
6-hour Class (with lunch break)
Instructor: Lois Gaylord
DATES:
Come explore the exciting design possibilities of Diagonal Double Turn - Tablet weaving. This technique is the perfect combination of structure and design. The way the tablets are set up allows the creation of smooth diagonal lines that lend themselves to key patterns, diamonds, knot work and interlaced designs.
Students will setup a sample band in this technique. Some designs will be available to begin weaving. We’ll also look at how to create your own designs. At the end of the class, we’ll take a look at some threaded in designs for the edges of your bands.
