Designed by Shetland-born knitwear designer, Gudrun Johnston, Shetland Solstice features colorwork using holiday-themed hues in Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift. The kits contain 5 balls of Spindrift yarn labeled with the pattern color codes, and pattern.

“It's truly special to be releasing my first holiday themed kit with Simply Shetland! Since joining the team as brand director, I've had (almost) all the colors of Spindrift at hand to play with whenever I want. For this hat, I wanted to pick a selection of shades that had winter-festive names. There were actually quite a few! After several swatches, I settled on Pine Forest, Eucalyptus, Nutmeg, Spice, and Old Gold, and I couldn't be more pleased with the rich and warm palette they create... Hopefully this is the first of many holiday themed kits I get to design for Simply Shetland!”
