It's here!! The 2024 Puget Sound LYS Tour starts today! We are open special hours: Wednesday May 15th thru Sunday May 19th. Find out more on our special Events Page and the LYS Tour webpage (links in the comments).

We are delighted to reveal our featured patterns for the 2024 LYS Tour.
This year both our patterns are designed by the talented Char Gascho of Owl Spun. She has created patterns with a captivating stitch texture that is easy to memorize and fun to work, but will have you looking twice to figure out which one is knit and which is crochet!

Owlen Knit Shawl
Olwen is a knitted shawl with textures of honeycombs on one side and flower petals on the reverse side. Try knitting this shawl in bold gem tones for an alluring dragon scale look.

Tiamat Crochet Shawl
Tiamat is a crochet shawl that mimics the rhythmic and powerful waves of the sea. This shawl is also reversible with the texture of dragon scales on the back.

Featured Yarn: Selkie DK
Stranded Studio is debuting Selkie DK for the LYS Tour. This hand-dyed yarn contains 55% Bluefaced Leicester and 45% Silk that provides luminous shine, smooth hand, excellent stitch definition, and luxurious drape. The perfect choice for evening wraps and light garments. Featured Yarn is 10% OFF during the LYS Tour.

Both Owlen and Tiamat feature Selkie DK to take advantage of the excellent stitch definition and luxurious shine and drape.

Tara has carefully crafted 21 hand-dyed colorways in tonal and subtle variegated tones that coordinate beautifully. Follow Stranded by the Sea on Instagram for a behind-the-scenes peak at the color development process.
