The Tour de Fleece is on now - all are welcome to come spin with our team

Team Stranded Spinners will be spinning July 1st - 31st

What is Tour de Fleece?
Tour de Fleece is an annual spin-along that takes place during the Tour de France bicycle race. #TdF2022

Tour de Fleece is more of a Spin-Along than yardage competition.

The concept is simple:
Challenge Yourself.
Spin.
Have fun.

Anyone of any experience level is welcome to join our Tour de Fleece Team of Stranded Spinners.

This year, the Tour de Fleece starts on Friday, July 1, 2022 and runs until Sunday, July 24, 2022. Team Stranded will observe a bonus round and continue spinning through the end of the Tour de France Femmes, the Women’s Race on Jule 31st.

Guidelines (NOT RULES):
Spin every day the Tour rides, if possible.
Rest Days: July 11, July 17
Spin something challenging on race challenge days.
Wear something yellow on Sunday July 24th to announce victory. (Yellow is the color of the race leader in the Tour)

Social times are marked with butterflies on the calendar.
Check our Calendar page for spinning social times and for the Zoom link.

Our Team's Theme for Tour de Fleece 2022 will be UV Butterflies. Play with ultraviolet and rainbow colors, work on art yarn techniques, add butterflies when plying. What will you be inspired to create?
Why butterflies? Let's just say that they are often applied by the Tour de France graffiti improvement team (fyi Google image results may NSFW).
