Next Steps in Beginning Weaving
4 Hours plus a 30-min break

This class is designed for those who have some experience with Rigid Heddle or 4-Harness weaving and want to try something new, need a refresher, or would like some guidance with planning project details.
The class will begin with project planning considerations, weaving tips, and yarn choices and calculating sett, quantities, colors etc. Next, student will use their chosen yarns to warp and setup their project, and cover what they they need to know to work on and finish the project on their own. Rigid heddle weavers will be able to direct warp their loom. Harness loom weavers will be able to wind their warp.
Students should have already taken a beginning weaving class or have experience with their selected loom.
Registration Fee: $100/student
Materials and equipment are NOT included in the registration fee.
Required Skills:
Completed a beginning weaving class or have experience with warping and weaving on their selected loom.
Materials: variable depending on desired project
Instructor will have project suggestions at class, such as a scarf or tea towels. Students will have an opportunity during class to select and purchase materials at the shop during the class break.

Warping and winding tools will be available in the Studio to use during class.
