Have you been curious about machine knitting? Now is the perfect time to explore how easy and fun it can be! Drop in and join the group!
The NW Machine Knitters Group meets in person each month in the Studio Space at Stranded by the Sea.
Meetings start at Noon on the 4th Thursday of the Month and are offered in a hybrid meeting format, with people attending both in person and via Zoom link that is available to all paid members.
A featured topic is presented, then ideas are shared from the books each person is encouraged to bring, followed by a Show-and-Tell time where people are encouraged to ask questions on techniques. Each meeting has a specific topic of discussion, lead by a volunteer. There will be book and internet links relative to the topic provided before the meeting, so everyone may come a bit prepared for the discussion.
After each meeting, starting at 2:00 pm, a half hour class/demo is offered. These instructional sessions are free to paid members and $10 to all others (fee going to Stranded by the Sea). No prior skills or materials required.
Sign up is through the shop, either online or in person.
Advanced registration is NOT required and you may decide to drop-in on the day, but it would be nice for the instructor knows how many to expect.
