Yarn Bomb the Edmonds Waterfront 2.0

Yarn Bomb the Edmonds Waterfront 2.0

Yarn Bomb the Edmonds Waterfront with Knit and Crocheted Squares (12" or 24")
Drop off completed squares before Installation on July 30th

It's our 2nd Yarn Bomb event for the Edmonds Waterfront.
Everyone is invited to participate.  Tell your friends!!

Just like last year, we will install knitted and crocheted squares to wrap portions of our shop here at Stranded by the Sea, the trees along Sunset Ave where the cars unload from the Ferry, the benches and fixtures along the waterfront park, etc.

The more squares that we receive, the more things that we can wrap and Yarn Bomb!!  We received more than 450 square feet of squares last year.  Help us beat that record.

It's simple and easy to join in the fun, just knit or crochet a 12" or 24" square in washable yarn.  We are using the Snuggles Project specifications.  Use any stitch pattern that you like.  Please use washable yarn, yarns that are cotton, acrylic, or superwash fibers.  Dig in your stash and have some fun with color.

The Snuggles Project has a pattern library may be helpful.

DROP OFF at the shop BEFORE July 30th.

Installation day is July 30th and the squares should be up for about 3 weeks.  It's fun to walk around downtown and find your squares.  After the event, the Lynnwood Stitch 'n Bitch will make the squares into pet beds and snuggle blankets that will be donated to the Everett Animal Shelter.

If you would like to help with the installation, take down, or seaming up pet beds, please stop by or email the shop and let me know!
